Pre-ride notes
Thanks for joining us this weekend on our 300k ACP brevet! Here are some notes to make sure you have the best experience possible!
- Registration will run from 5-6am Saturday morning, followed by a short ride brief. If you plan on beginning after 6am, please contact me because I will be on the road by 6:15 (I need as much time as possible!)
- The lobby at our host hotel is currently under construction and therefore there is no bathroom to use on the premises. There is a marathon gas station and pilot truck stop in the same parking lot that have public access bathrooms. You will find me set up for check-in in the parking lot.
- Unfortunately, our scheduled volunteers were not able to attend, and so this ride will be NOT be supported, outside of check-in at the start and possibly at the finish depending on when you arrive. In the event that you may need to abandon the course, please make sure you have a contact waiting to assist you or have a bail out plan! Utilize your controls and rando bags to make sure you can safely navigate the course. Make sure you contact me in the case of abandonment.
- In the event that rides are unsupported, I will be requiring all riders from this point on to please contact me when you have finished your ride. It doesn’t have to be immediate, but certainly before the course closes. (This does NOT count as results reporting and you will still need to submit your results online.) The easiest way is text, email, or simply speaking to me at the finish. You may choose to call and leave a voice message, but I will be riding and probably won’t answer! Alexb@woh.rr.com 937-929-0354
- There will be a mandatory inspection of lights and reflective gear before departure
- Have fun and make sure you brought your granny gear for the hills!
